Woven from glossy sedge grass, this piece was created to pray for a bountiful harvest and happiness. It is a traditional good-luck charm that originated in the Hiramaru district of Myoko City, Niigata Prefecture, in the Showa 30s.
It features a beautiful, tightly woven design. It is no longer produced and has fallen into disuse.
